**Position Type: Part Time**

**Pay Rate: $20.50 / Hour**

Sat11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

Sun11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

**What You'll Do:**

+ Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and the public by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related activities, and appropriate emergency response actions at a government location.

+ Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts and/or emergency services when needed.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and/or potential concerns.

+ Monitor entrances, exits, and public areas to help support authorized access, observe for policy-related issues, and report maintenance, hazard, and/or suspicious activity concerns.

+ Complete routine reports, logs, and incident documentation, and assist with security-related procedures that support daily operations and public-facing services.

**Minimum Requirements:**

+ Possess at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.

+ Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
