+ Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
+ 5 years of industry experience building consumer products.
+ 4 years of people management experience.
+ Experience leading engineering product design and architecture of consumer devices.
+ Experience with optical systems (displays, cameras) or computer vision or new technologies.
+ Successful completion of multiple consumer products, with direct experience shipping products in volumes exceeding 10k/year.
+ Broad, cross-functional understanding of hardware product execution such as ME/PD, ID, cost, and factory/operations.
+ Deep knowledge in one or more engineering disciplines.
+ Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, ability to influence decision makers in other teams through both written documentation and presentations.
