Software Engineer II

Our Opportunity:

We are looking for a Software Engineer II at our facility in Minneapolis, Minnesota, to design, develop, and maintain implementations of Page Editor, Advantage Architect workflows and SQL Server stored procedures.

What You’ll Do:

+ Develop performant, scalable, and secure software solutions that meet business requirements.

+ Document code customization in compliance with established standards and practices.

+ Manage deadlines by balancing deliverables from multiple projects, production support, and system administration tasks.

+ Perform upgrades and migrations of the enterprise applications.

+ Partner with DBAs, Infrastructure Engineers, and DevOps to monitor, tune, and improve system performance.

+ Resolve issues impacting our business teams.

+ Provide training to Business Analysts/Subject Matter Experts as needed.

+ Suggest / Define test cases for solutions and assist QA Analysts as needed.

+ Local telecommuting permitted up to 3 days per week.

What You’ll Need:

+ Bachelor’s Degree (or foreign equivalent) in Information Systems, Computer Science or related field and 3 years of experience.

+ Will accept a Master’s degree and 1 year of experience.

+ Experience must include 1 year with: Relational databases such as MS SQL, Oracle and PostgreSQL;

+ Supply Chain Execution software;

+ T-SQL, MS SQL Server, and Splunk;

+ Development enterprise applications;

+ Message Queueing and NET Web Services.

+ Local telecommuting permitted up to 3 days per week.
