A new area within Accenture Technology is Industry X, an advanced, digitally enabled, innovative, planning and investment approach for manufacturing and asset-intensive industries. In your role within our Industry X team you will help clients take advantage of significant market opportunities as digital technology moves into the core of industry in product development and manufacturing environments.  You will help them transform their product, manufacturing and product related services value chains in Food and Beverage and CPG Communications, Media, High Tech, Aerospace & Defense, Chemicals, Mining, Oil & Gas and Utilities.  As part of Accenture Digital, you will benefit from tailored career management and specialist skills that will fuel your ambitions in the Industry X space. 

The Work:

+ Responsible for the completion of all project requirements, including, but not limited to: 

+ Software development and integration projects for our clients. Using your deep technical knowledge of manufacturing software and systems, you will help translate their business need into solutions 

+ Develop and maintain strong client relationships 

+ Much of your work will be highly technical in nature.  Drawing on schematics and conversations provided by clients, you will consult with our design team and offer insights on possible approaches and strategies, success will require not only exceptional technical skills, but also analytical business skills. 

+ Participate or lead client meetings and record accurate technical specifications of their requirements  

+ Design and develop/configure solutions using Microsoft technologies, SQL Server, and third party manufacturing applications. 

+ Identify and solve complex technical problems for area of responsibility, using in-depth analysis of situations or data and incorporating innovative approaches and techniques. 

+ Develop proposals for business development opportunities and present to senior leadership at potential clients. Ability to turn broad program objectives into actionable design initiatives 

+ Develop standards, procedures, training manuals, and other documentation for projects or internal use. 

+ Deliver Virtual Commissioning/Emulation, Testing and Simulation 

For now, all Accenture business travel, international and domestic, is currently restricted to client-essential sales/delivery activity only.

Here’s what you need:  

+ Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or other technical discipline.

+ 5+ years of experience in:

+ Software development and integration projects

+ Designing and development of complex systems, including development of multi-tier enterprise scale applications in a manufacturing environment

+ Microsoft tools, GitHub, Azure DevOps, C#, SQL Server, and Python

+ Business analysis

Bonus points if you have: 

+ The ability to use deep technical knowledge of manufacturing software and systems to translate customer business needs into solutions 

+ Mastery of designing and developing solutions using Microsoft technologies, SQL Server, and third party manufacturing applications 

+ Proven history of leading client meetings and recording accurate technical specifications of their requirements
