Electrician

Electronic Technologists perform installation, replacement, repair and troubleshooting maintenance of electric circuitry associated with production and facility equipment.

Key Responsibilities

1. Hook up power, lighting and temperature controls (switch, lights, relays, etc.).

2. Determine appropriate components, wire size, protective covering and wiring layout.

3. Diagnose problems quickly to identify the causes of problems and determine effective courses of action to avoid extended periods of equipment downtime. Report serious trouble to Supervisor in a timely manner to expedite additional resources as needed.

4. Order supplies as required.

U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS

Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.

YOU MUST HAVE

1. Must have a Minnesota Journeyman’s License.

2. Must understand Ohms Law, read blueprints, wiring diagrams and schematic drawings.

3. Ability to work with advanced mathematics, all types of circuit drawings and test equipment.

4. Training and/or experience working with the following:

Programmable Logic Controllers

Variable Frequency Drives

Automation Controls

Microsoft Applications (Word, Excel)

5. Employees may be required to successfully complete location specific training to maintain eligibility for the position.
