**A Day in the Life**
The primary objective of the Field Inventory Associate is to improve district inventory utilization and Sales Representative efficiency. This position is responsible for the pick-up, delivery, quality assurance and shipping of sets/kits for surgery. Employee performs all aspects of inventory management, including replenishments, cycle counts, expiration management and other functions to ensure the accuracy and completeness of the inventory. This position will report to the Field Logistics Manager with significant input from the District Sales Manager and Sales Representatives. Strong attention to detail, the ability to work independently, excellent communication skills, and capability to work to tight deadlines is a must. This position will be on call for un-scheduled emergency deliveries.
Review daily field inventory report and coordinate delivery/return schedule with Sales Representatives
Ensures that 100% of received inventory and returned inventory matches with shipping documents
Work with Central Sterile staff in hospitals to ensure accuracy of inventory
Drives vehicle to deliver and pick up sets across the district and coordinates the inbound and outbound shipping deliveries.
Perform the assembly and preparation of sets/kits for surgery/return including Quality Control audits
Perform field inventory audits.
Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
Ability to take direction and work independently.
Position requires ability to move, lift, carry, pull, or push as needed.
Position requires a significant amount of driving.
Ability to work in a cold or hot environment.
Position requires significant attention to detail.
Strong verbal communication skills.

**Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.**
+ Controls the flow of raw and finished goods, services, and information between point of origin through receipt at the manufacturing site, through to customer placement in order to meet customer or manufacturing requirements.
+ Ensures the execution and continuous improvement of logistics processes, such as the replenishment system, data interchange systems, demand management, electronic data systems administration, and related functions.
+ Ensures that customer service and time objectives are achieved within existing financial constraints in order to meet marketing and financial objectives.
+ Builds relationships with manufacturing, suppliers, and customers through the resolution of delivery issues.
+ Integrates market intelligence from operating entities, distribution, transportation, suppliers, and customers to continuously improve competitive position.
**SHIFT:** Periodically required to work weekends, evenings, nights and holidays and overtime.
**DRIVERS LICENSE:** Must have a valid drivers license and active vehicle insurance policy/driving record.
**Must Have: Minimum Requirements**
+ Requiresa high school degree/GED or equivalent and minimum of 4 years of experience.
+ Requires broad knowledge of operational systems and practices typically gained through prior work experience and/or education.
+ Requires minimum of 4 years of experience and may require vocational or technical education or certification in addition to prior work experience.
**Nice to Have**
Medical Device or Hospital logistics shipping/receiving/delivery experience preferred.
