JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

The Sports Information Student-Worker opening reports directly to the Sports Information Director and Assistant Sports Information Director. Responsible for assisting with the day-to-day coverage of Penn State Harrisburg’s 16 varsity sports.

Job Duties

+ Live stream camera operation and software production for home games.

+ Stat calling and inputting.

+ Assisting with game-day operations (setup, photography, videography, etc.).

+ Writing news releases and event recaps.

+ Updating social media accounts.

+ Other duties as assigned.

+ 6 to 8 hours per week, depending on the time of year.

Requirements and Qualifications

+ Must be able to work afternoons, evenings, and weekends.

+ General knowledge of athletics is are preferred.

+ May require the ability to work in an outdoor environment in adverse weather conditions including extreme heat and cold.
