Job Responsibilities:
+ Aid in the development and implementation of project management standards and disciplines for all projects and programs.
+ Identify and implement process improvements within the department in collaboration with leadership.
+ Able to function as a Business Relationship Manager and/or Senior Project Manager for key organizational initiatives and strategies.
+ Ability to manage multiple enterprise-wide initiatives across functional departments, service lines, or campuses at any given time without any degradation in the quality of work performed.
+ Ability to identify and resolve change management and integration issues between projects and affected departments. Support the resolution of issues as needed.
+ Ability to effectively manage training offerings and certification programs.
+ Ensure that project management principles are consistently applied across all projects following organizational project management standards.
+ Seek out opportunities for improvement within customer departments, projects, and processes. Apply organization lessons learned to future engagements.
+ Develop and maintain processes, tools, and methodologies that support effective project management functions in the areas of planning, decision-making, resource allocation, status tracking, and project success criteria.
+ Support and collaborate with operational leaders in the development of project plans for approved projects. Aid in the identification of project goals, overall objectives, and stakeholder expectations.
+ Lead project initiation which includes collection of business requirements, operational assessment, and stakeholder alignment.
+ Identify project risks and mitigation strategies.
+ Prepare cost-benefit analyses on projects, monitor project deadlines and costs, and conduct post implementation reviews.
+ Perform process analysis, research, project design, operations management, and data quality/integrity measurements.
Job Requirements:
+ Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
+ Experience managing senior-level internal team members, and reporting to executive level sponsors.
+ Project Management Professional (PMP) certification required
+ Certification in a process improvement discipline (e.g. Lean, etc.) required
+ 8 years work experience or Master’s with 5 years work experience in leading enterprise wide projects utilizing project management methods with proven implementation of detailed work plans
+ Proficiency in software applications such as MS Office, Visio, SharePoint, database applications, MS Project, Minitab, etc.
+ Proven experience with building strong relationships with key customers and effective communication strategies.
+ Master's degree in relevant field
+ Understanding of healthcare business systems and processes preferred
