Provides leadership, direction, oversight, and coordination for Kettering Health (KH) Finance and related operations, assuming full executive responsibility for the activities and functions. Fosters an environment that supports KHN mission, vision, values, goals, and key result areas. Assists the KH CEO in strategic initiatives and projects, the development of operational strategies, integration with joint ventures and strategic partnerships, financial stewardship, integration development and success, medical staff integration and alignment, and management of executives, leaders, and staff. Provides executive leadership, direction, and coordination for the Kettering Health in the following areas, in a manner consistent with organizational mission and objectives. Has an understanding of the regulatory and reimbursement environment and uses that knowledge to move KH towards a sustainable 5% + operating margin.
+ Assumes oversight as the KH Chief Financial Officer for all aspects of:
+ Finance
+ Revenue Cycle
+ Patient Registration
+ Managed Care
+ HIM
+ Payroll
+ Tax
+ Develop and implement key strategies in coordination with CEO and executive leadership team.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Education
+ Master's Degree (preferably in Finance or Accounting)
+ Professional designation and state license (CPA preferred)
+ Appropriate continuing education courses
Work Experience
Minimum of 10 or more years of administrative and executive experience in health care financial management is required. Demonstrated experience in learning and setting up collaborative relationships along with strategy, project direction, planning and implementation. Has a track recored of significantly improving financial performance.

Professional Affiliations
Membership in professional organizations such as the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Healthcare Financial Management Association, and the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE) and/or other appropriate professional organizations is an element in consideration of this position. Participation in community organizations which support the KH mission is encouraged.
