**The opportunity**

As the Technical Architect you will be responsible for the planning, analysis, design, development and implementation of digital experience solutions. You will own the architecture part of the design in partnership with client’s Marketing/Mechanizer as well as directly with the clients architectural committee. This requires a passion for Digital Marketing, expertise in the Adobe ecosystem or CMS Headless experience with React, and the experience to guide web development teams, both internal and third parties.

You will work closely with product owners (Marketing) to recommend innovative solutions and to guide through execution. You must have a strong customer focus with a passion for the quality of the customer experience. A key understanding of Headless CMS with integration into React as a UI framework is needed to be successful in this role.

Working with diverse business partners and the ability to juggle concurrent development efforts is a must. As a Solution Architect, will have a key role in designing, building, testing, deploying and contributing to standards for CMS applications that could revolutionize the technology space.

**Your key responsibilities**

+ Senior developer responsible for leading technical aspects of CMS implementations including micros sites, DAM repositories, Content-As-A-Service, CMS as headless and system integrations development

+ Work with technology, product and business partners to design and develop reusable template, components and services

+ Lead efforts to enable latest UI frameworks on CMS platform for modern user experience and dynamic web application

+ Collaborate with enterprise Architecture, QA, Security and other cross-functional teams to build scalable, secured and reliable content solutions

+ Work collaboratively with QA and DevOps teams to adopt automation, continuous integration and deployment best practices to speed up release process

+ Contribute to, and participate in, projects to ensure successful implementation of defined digital experience solutions

**To qualify for the role you must have**

+ Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, IT, Computer Engineering, MIS, Mathematics or related field 

+ 5+ years of development experience working in Adobe Experience Manager (Adobe AEM 6.x, AEM 6.4, AEM 6.5) and ideally also one of the following Content Management Systems - Bloomreach, Amplience or Contentful

+ Develop, implement and configure web content management solutions using Adobe Experience Manager, Adobe AEM Assets, and/or technologies such as Java, HTML/DHTML, XML, React, JavaScript, and web services

+ 5+ years building sites, templates, components, or integrations within CMS

+ Strong analytical, problem solving & conceptual skills, and a flexible attitude in shifting environments

+ Excel at communication (spoken, written, presentation) with an ability to express complex technical concepts in business terms

+ Ability to negotiate and manage difficult or ambiguous situation and adapt and work effectively with a variety of situations, individuals, and technologies

+ Experience with decoupled architectures and working in Agile development model

+ Experience with Java concepts and patterns including: Java/J2EE, JSP, Sling, Webservices, JUnit, MVC, Eclipse, Maven

+ Results driven with a positive can-do attitude

+ CMS certification such as Contentful Certified Professional, Adobe Certified Expert, etc

+ Willingness to travel to meet client obligations

**Ideally, you’ll also have**

+ Bachelors’ Degree in Computer Science, IT, Computer Engineering, MIS, Mathematics desired; Master’s degree in one of these areas preferred

+ Prior consulting experience highly preferred

**What we offer**

We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you’ll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business. The salary range for this job in most geographic locations in the US is $128,400 to $235,400. The salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $154,100 to $267,500. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography. In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options. Under our flexible vacation policy, you’ll decide how much vacation time you need based on your own personal circumstances. You’ll also be granted time off for designated EY Paid Holidays, Winter/Summer breaks, Personal/Family Care, and other leaves of absence when needed to support your physical, financial, and emotional well-being.
