Business Manager

**Overview**

**Responsibilities**

We provide our client and customers the tools needed to deliver solutions and achieve their goals with merchandising, assortment, pricing, and shelf positioning. These initiatives result in maximizing market share.

We are seeking self-motivated professionals who can create these solutions and have the ability to:

+ Deliver clients’ volume, share and sales fundamental goals (merchandising, assortment, pricing, and shelving) at the lowest possible cost.

+ Collaborate with client market lead to deliver business plans while taking personal ownership of the results.

+ Develop strong relationships with assigned customers and client.

+ Achieve fundamental goals and results at the lowest possible selling cost while maximizing company revenue (to include brokerage, commissions, and bonuses, contest earnings, etc.)

+ Effectively use knowledge of customer, market, and client to successfully sell client specific programs and initiatives.

+ Demonstrate strategic planning and analytical skills in order to improve business results.

+ Demonstrate business development skills to ensure clients goal and objectives are met.

+ Provide feedback on the effectiveness of our clients' strategies, selling programs, and initiatives.

+ Maintain current account distribution information.

+ Coordinate client market visits and key account calls.

+ Pro-actively manage personal skill development plan.

**Qualifications**

+ Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.

+ A proven track-record in sales; preferably with a food broker or national company.

+ Strong interpersonal, organizational, presentation, negotiation, and sales skills.

+ Must have the ability to analyze sales and marketing information needed to make effective sales presentations.

+ Must be proficient in a variety of software packages used to support the sales function.

+ Must be willing to travel.
