**Required Skills:**

Product Designer Responsibilities:

1. Play a central role in the way we build products, ensuring our products and features are valuable for people, easy to use and of the highest level of craft and execution.

2. Deliver design projects of large and ambiguous scope.

3. Design flows and experiences that are incredibly simple and elegant.

4. Design new experiences or layouts that evolve and define visual systems and generate new visual language.

5. Apply design principles to create product workflows, proof of concepts and frameworks.

6. Determine the size and arrangement of illustrative design mockups and select the style and type of design.

7. Give and solicit feedback from designers and a broader product team.

8. Lead a partnership with product managers, engineers, researchers and content strategists to oversee the user experience of a product from conception until launch.

9. Conduct research into design trends and user-experience concepts to develop design modifications and revision that enhance user experiences.

10. Facilitate validation of work for usability, accessibility, and advocate for inclusive experiences across platforms.

11. Maintain and improve our design system library to optimize for ease of use and adoption.

12. Own the full lifecycle of pattern design and documentation to designers via our design system.

13. Telecommute from anywhere in the U.S. permitted.

**Minimum Qualifications:**

14. Employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree in Interaction Design, Graphic Design, Visual Design, Product Design or related field. Requires completion of a university-level course, research project, internship, or thesis in the following: 1. Building and shipping applications and software that encompass an end-to-end experience across a variety of platforms

15. 2. Defining how experiences should behave based on understanding people's needs and scale

16. 3. Prototyping tools to demonstrate how flow or interaction will work

17. 4. Visual design including proficiency in typography, desktop/mobile UI, color, layout, iconography and aesthetic sense

18. 5. Interaction design artifacts, multiple iterations, and high-fidelity prototypes

19. 6. Representing work to a broader team or audience and succinctly articulating the goals and concepts

20. 7. Building design systems with multiple product verticals and designers

21. 8. Creating new patterns and consolidating existing patterns to drive product unification.

**Public Compensation:**

$205,327/year to $223,850/year + bonus + equity + benefits
