**Position Description:** RN - Registered Nurse - Med/Surg Tele Observation

BayCare Health System is currently seeking a Registered Nurse to join our outstanding and compassionate Med/Surg Tele Observation team at St. Joseph’s Hospital - North.

The RN responsibilities include:

+ Independently caring for a group of patients consistently using the nursing process and clinical standards.

+ Delegating appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team.

+ Professional accountability and development.

+ Performing the role of preceptor and charge nurse when assigned.

**Qualifications:**

**Certifications and Licensures:**

+ BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification is required

+ RN (Registered Nurse) license is required

+ ACLS Certification, if required by department

+ Nurse Specialty certification is preferred

**Education:**

+ Associates degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma is required

+ Bachelors degree in Nursing is preferred

**Experience:**

+ 2 years of RN experience is required.

+ Interpersonal skills

+ Critical thinking skills

+ Clinical skills appropriate to position
