**Location:** St. Joseph’s North – Lutz, FL

**Facility:** BayCare Health System, Laboratory Services – SJHN

**Shift:** 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM (Evening Shift)

**Schedule:** Full-Time | Every Other Weekend | No On-Call

**Status:** Non-Exempt

**Role Overview**

As a **Clinical Laboratory Scientist II** , you will perform complex testing that is essential to accurate diagnosis and patient outcomes. You’ll contribute to quality assurance, staff training, and maintaining the highest standards of laboratory operations.

**Key Responsibilities**

+ Perform diagnostic testing and quality control procedures

+ Prepare reagents and report results per established policies and procedures

+ Perform moderate to high complexity testing

+ Monitor and maintain computer applications related to lab operations

+ Maintain laboratory equipment and supplies

+ Assist with training, orientation, and competency evaluations of testing personnel

+ Work independently and collaboratively as part of a team

+ Perform other duties as assigned

**Qualifications**

**Certification & Licensure**

+ **Required:** State of Florida Clinical Laboratory Technologist License

**Education**

+ **Required:** Associate’s degree in Medical Technology or related field

+ **Preferred:** Bachelor’s degree in a related field

**Experience**

+ **Required:** Clinical laboratory experience
