Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation Physician (Per Diem)

**Job Summary and Responsibilities**

Northridge Hospital Medical Center (https://www.dignityhealth.org/socal/locations/northridgehospital) is seeking a per diem **Board-Certified Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R) Physician** to join our inpatient rehabilitation service at Northridge Hospital Medical Center.

+ 100% Inpatient PM&R practice at a single hospital

+ Per Diem opportunity with flexible scheduling to cover alternating weekends, holidays and/or vacations

+ Join a tenured, multispecialty medical group established in 1976

+ Work alongside experienced PM&R physicians in a collegial, team-based environment

+ Collaborate with a full interdisciplinary rehabilitation team (PT, OT, SLP, nursing, case management, and social work) and hospitalist team

+ Opportunity to participate in quality improvement and program development within a CARF-accredited setting

**Compensation Details**

+ **$1,560 per 8-hour shift** (non-benefited, per diem)

+ Expected schedule: 12-15 shifts per month

+ Flexible scheduling within a supportive, collaborative environment

**Job Requirements**

+ Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)

+ Board Certified in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation

+ Experience with spinal cord injury rehabilitation is preferred

+ Active California Medical License (or ability to obtain)

+ DEA certification (or eligibility)

+ Prior inpatient rehabilitation experience preferred

+ Experience with spinal cord injuries highly desirable

+ Strong communication and teamwork skills

+ Commitment to patient-centered, mission-driven care

**Pay Range**

$195.00 - $195.00 /hour
