Content Strategy and Planning Operations Lead

**Summary:**

The Content Strategy and Planning (CSP) team within Media Partnerships works closely with our partner-facing and product teams to help build and invest in content businesses within the Facebook family of apps. Within CSP, the Operations team is a small but growing group focused on developing and implementing best-in-class processes, tools, and solutions that enable operational excellence and efficiency across the organization.This individual will be responsible for helping to ensure operational excellence in supporting the Facebook video business and content strategy. The individual team will work with CSP teams focused on strategy, deals, program management, analytics, marketing, and payment operations, as well as cross-functional partners across video operations and partner engineering to design processes, tools, and solutions that enable the org to maximize its impact and support the content acquisition pipeline. Ideal candidates are organized thinkers who can break down complex problems, build solutions, deliver actionable and data-driven insights while working in a dynamic environment. Candidates should be system thinkers, ready to take execution ownership of key tasks in a workflow.

**Required Skills:**

1. Build and execute operational frameworks to implement day-to-day program strategy through business requirements gathering, milestone planning, development, launch, stabilization and growth

2. Lead and program manage complex cross-functional initiatives, implement technical solutions, design new processes, and deliver leadership-sponsored initiatives

3. Support go-to-market planning for new and existing programs, including communicating strategy and goals, performing quantitative analysis, implementing technical solutions, and designing new processes to optimize outcomes

4. Work cross-functionally to drive execution and hold people accountable for deliverables without a formal reporting structure

5. Provide regular program updates to the entire organization and leadership to report performance, progress, and highlight any issues that need buy-in with recommendations to move forward

6. Inform, influence, and execute new strategies and operational tactics for programs using sound analysis and impact metrics to support positions

7. Influence cross-functional working team meetings efficiently and effectively, by connecting dots and driving key decisions

8. Continue to identify opportunities to improve operational excellence by developing and sharing best practices across the organization, utilizing metrics, and incorporating cross-functional feedback to drive the best solutions

9. Manage multiple concurrent projects and/or projects with multiple workstreams that require inputs from cross-functional stakeholders

10. Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders inside and outside of Content Strategy & Planning by building influence while supporting team objectives

11. Capturing task level details to document all items and highlight dependencies in a task management system

**Minimum Qualifications:**

12. 8+ years of experience in partnerships or management at a media company, a technology environment, or relevant industry

13. Organized with experience identifying all process flow steps for execution and depth of experience of process management

14. Demonstrated experience in problem solving, providing business insights and recommendations using data, and owning business requirements

15. Experience communicating and presenting to a variety of stakeholders and clarifying/summarizing issues

16. Experience building relationships at all levels of an organization with a proven track record of influencing without ownership

**Preferred Qualifications:**

17. Experience in the tech and media industry and/or management consulting or investment banking

18. Background working with DBA or SAAS

19. Experience with designing and/or working with business management tools

20. Familiarity with SQL and data taxonomy

21. Experience in data visualizations and building scalable reporting tools

22. Experience working independently with minimum supervision, leading multiple projects

23. Strategic, analytical and problem solving experience

24. Analytical and quantitative skills with knowledge of data architecture systems

25. Experience working with technical and strategic teammates to design solutions
