Shipping/Logistics Coordinator

We are searching for an experienced Shipping/Logistics Coordinator at our City of Industry, CA facility.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
The Shipping & Logistics Coordinator plays a vital role within the Customer Service Team, coordinating all aspects of logistics and transportation needs to ensure deliveries are on time and complete. Supports the ultimate goal of Customer Service, Supply Chain and Sales; ensuring order accurate and timely order fulfillment. Contributes as a key shareholder in the Customer Service Team to provide gold level customer service internally and externally. This role is the hub between the company, third party logistics providers and shipping warehouses, all working together conducting order fulfillment.

Responsibilities include:
-Coordinate outbound logistics operations related to customer purchase order fulfillment and delivery
-Work daily with third party logistics providers: plan, create, distribute and own all aspects of logistics plans
-Track all orders as they progress through supply chain; resolve issues faced with on-time delivery
-Work daily with third party warehouses; assist in pickup appointment scheduling with logistics providers, ensure inbound finished goods are received in time for quick turnaround on orders, and ensuring warehouses maintain excellent service levels and communication back to the company on orders fulfilled.
-Report order delivery progress to internal staff (Sales/Operations) and proactively to customers as needed
-Coordinate regular inventory transfers of finished goods to third party warehouses for customer FOB pickups at locations across the country
-Communicate regularly with customer/buyers/brokers to secure necessary order and/or date changes and report on progress from receipt to delivery.
-Obtain proofs of delivery and research purchase order discrepancies in conjunction with Accounting with regard to short ships, late delivery fees, etc. Recommend acceptance or dispute
-Identify and implement improvements with operations to streamline workflow, application flow and reduce processing errors to save time, effort and cost
-Coordinate vetting, initializing and use of new shipping, warehouses, third party logistis providers and transportation management systems with Supply Chain Management.
-Maintain lead time audit form and ensure the company's adherence. Maintain other customer specific order fulfillment documentation as needed.
-Create and maintain special documentation for international orders pertinent to transportation
-Sales order editing as needed
-Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:
-Bachelor's degree or eqivalent work experience
-Experience in fast-paced customer-facing positions in gift card logistics, supply chain, operations
-Proficiency with using ERP or similar system
-Excellent customer service skills. Strong skills in analysis, problem solving, process development, and decision making.
-Works extremely well independely and as part of a team
-Demonostrated ability to be proactive and communicate with multiple shareholders in the logistics chain, sales and customer service
-Proficiency with MS Office Suite
