The Director, Global Operations, Brand Operations, is a key member of the Global Operations Brand Operations team, which defines and develops operational platforms for Marriott International’s portfolio Brands. The Director leverages their operational experience and their passion for designing guest experiences to design, develop, deliver, and enhance a specific set of products and/or services with focus on Premium Brands. This position is accountable for facilitating the process of product development and enhancement by creating new products and services and evolving existing products and services. The role collaborates with cross-functional project teams to design new concepts and refine existing features to continually improve adoption and the overall guest experience.

The incumbent should be comfortable participating in all parts of a guest-centered design process (i.e., ideation, proof of concept, build, pilot, and deployment) and also in creating deliverables at varying levels of fidelity: from quickly capturing a concept’s value proposition to creating final products and services and documenting operational procedures and specifications. The Director has expertise in hotel operations across a variety of disciplines.

Key accountabilities include: bringing a relevant brand perspective to Design & Development projects; partnering with brand, discipline, continent and corporate sponsor to provide innovative solutions to drive the guest experience in support of strategic growth goals; leading collaborative product and service development, design integrity standards, and lessons learned; continually monitoring current business processes, making recommendations, and implementing approved changes as required; mentoring design and development team members to facilitate professional growth; review of presentations with key executives.


**Education and Experience**

+ **2-year degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel and Restaurant Management, Industrial Design, or related major plus 4 years’ experience in a single or multiple Operations areas (e.g., Rooms, F&B, Retail, Spa, Fitness, etc.) or related professional area;** **OR:**

+ **4-year bachelor's degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel and Restaurant Management, Industrial Design, or related major plus 2 years’ experience in a single or multiple Operations areas (e.g., Rooms, F&B, Retail, Spa, Fitness, etc.) or related professional area.**

**Required Experience:**

**Design & Development**

+ Works in both small and large multi-disciplinary project teams to build products and service that are beneficial to the company and to guests
