Senior Manager of Quality

We are searching for an experienced Senior Manager of Quality at our Las Vegas. NV facility.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

The Senior Manager of Quality implements quality and lean improvement policies, assurance processes and quality programs set by corporate quality. The incumbent will develop and ensure that the company's Quality Assurance audit program, additional training programs and company procedures are relevant and enforced. PLI quality assurance ensures a high level of production quality due to strict attention to every stage of the process.

Job Duties:
• Ongoing development and overall effectiveness of quality systems
• Manage and maintain quality inspection and product release programs for incoming, in-process and finished goods
• Formulate and manage the development and implementation of goals, objectives, policies, procedures and systems pertaining to QA/QC.
• Set quality assurance objectives and ensure targets are met
• Promote quality and performance improvements throughout the organization.
• Develop, implement, communicate and maintain a quality plan that ensures the company's Quality systems and policies are compliant with quality system requirements.
• Effectively interact with intercompany departments to maintain product supply and help introduce new products and procedures to production employees.
• Ensure testing/procedures are properly understood, carried out and evaluated and that product modifications are investigated as necessary.
• Supervise quality assurance team to ensure objectives are met.
• Identify relevant quality-related training needs and deliver training
• Gather relevant data and produce statistical reports.
• Write technical/management reports
• Implement/maintain controls and documentation of procedures

Required Qualifications:

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree in an applied science or engineering field
• 5 years prior experience in quality assurance in a manufacturing setting - print environment preferred but not required
• Experience training direct reports and production employees in techniques/procedures
• ASQ or CQM certification desired
• Six sigma training and experience strongly desired
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing and ISO preferred
• Experience in Quality Systems Audits
• Knowledge of safety and regulatory (OSHA) and or ISO 9000 and 9001 helpful, but not required
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Knowledge of Minitab desired
