Production Manager - Personalization

We are searching for an experienced Production Manager - Personalization at our Las Vegas. NV facility.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Job Summary: Primary responsibilities for the Production Manager are to coordinate and direct the daily activities for personalization, card affixing, packaging and order fulfillment. Duties include but are not limited to, planning, production efficiencies, tracking material waste, and resolving quality discrepancies. Daily collaboration with other department to satisfy customers' needs are required. A large part of the job is working with people and the ability to motivate their team is essential.

Job Duties:- Supervise and coordinate activities of personnel in the personalization, affixing, packaging and order fulfillment departments.
- Manage processes for data applied to cards.
- Manage, oversee and obtain the daily production schedules in all personalization card manufacturing activities.
- Oversee day-to-day operations to ensure all products are produced on time and are of agreed to quality.
- Review and answer issues concerning quality or functionality of product as it is being produced and inspected.
- Review raw material components and supplies and send order requested to accounting or purchasing for processing.
- Track and review waste from production process to ensure efficient material use.
- Count raw material and work-in progress for month end inventory.
- Complete basic human resource duties such as vacation approval and employee evaluation.
- Work closely with other departments to achieve departmental cross training in order to better accommodate production/personalization staffing coverage.
- Utilize operational resources to keep costs to budget, participate in safety program development.
- Manage the selection, training and development of production staff.
- Coordinate maintenance and repair of machines to avoid downtime and delays, ensure production process and machinery are in compliance with customer specifications and professional and safety standards.

Required Qualifications:

Qualifications:
- 4-year degree or equivalent.
- 5+ years in a commercial printing environment with preference in card manufacturing.
- Advanced math and reading skills.
- Ability to multi-task and apply structured problem-solving techniques.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong organization skills.
- Strong computer skills.
