General Machine Operator (2nd Shift)

We are searching for an experienced General Machine Operator (2nd Shift) at our Las Vegas. NV facility.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Overview:
The primary responsibilities of the General Machine Operator 1 are to operate a minimum of 2 key machines in the production process. Responsibilities are primarily general machine operation, troubleshooting, and daily maintenance. This position will clean and prepare work area and machine for next workday or shift at the end of shift.

Responsibilities include:
- Ability to, safely and with high quality, operate 2 key work cells/machines within area.
- Train trainees and agency employees.
- Set-up work cell/machines with little to no assistance.
- Troubleshoot and correct minor machine defaults.
- Run and review 1st article.
- Audit quality for operations on each side of running machine.
- Audit work instruction is being followed.

Required Qualifications:
Requirements include:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 3+ years' experience in a progressive, high-volume manufacturing environment.
- Advanced math and reading skills.
- Ability to multi-task.
- Developed interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong organization skills combined with the ability to determine root cause, containment and corrective actions.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, speak, hear and comprehend. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is primarily in an indoor setting, but may be exposed to variable temperature conditions indoor and outside (occasionally extreme heat or extreme cold). The employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts, toxic or caustic chemicals, and dust and/or mite hazards. The employee must be prepared to respond to emergencies should they occur. The noise level in the environment is usually moderate.
