Position Summary:

Do you enjoy providing quality data to help meet the needs of your customers? Are you interested in working as part of a team responsible for designing and maintaining compensation programs for the largest healthcare organization in East Tennessee? If so, Covenant Health is looking for a HR Data Specialist to assist our Compensation team.

The Human Resources Data Specialist supports all Covenant facilities and Human Resources groups by providing high quality and timely data and exceptional customer service. This position is responsible for partnering with Human Resources (HR), Payroll, and IT to provide data through various reports and data audits. The position is also responsible for maintaining a database of all current and archived job descriptions. In addition to the items above, the HR Data Specialist will participate in annual salary surveys from various third-party vendors. The HR Data Specialist must possess a generalknowledge of Federal and state employment laws and regulatory guidelines to assist in answering questions related to compensation programs and policies.

Minimum Education:

None specified; will accept any combination of formal education and/or prior work experience sufficient to demonstrate possession of the knowledge, skill and ability needed to perform the essential tasks of the job, typically such as would be equivalent to a high school diploma or GED. Preference may be given to individuals possessing an Associate’s degree in a directly-related field from an accredited college or university

Minimum Experience:

Requires a minimum of two (2) years’ work experience performing a variety of administrative/technical support functions in the fields of human resources, payroll, benefits or directly-related disciplines.Must possessstrong analytic and problem solving abilities, excellent communication skills, and well-developed computer skills.Microsoft Office (i.e. Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint) skills;Specific experience with ACCERO and/or COGNOS is a significant plus
