PRN/OCC, Shift:Varies Every Saturday/Sunday (3-10:30pm) with other possible shifts needed.
Under the direction of the Courtesy Ambassador Manager. The Courtesy Ambassador is responsible for greeting guests of Parkwest Medical Center upon arrival with information, directions as well as, a wheelchair escort when needed.
Any combination of formal education and/or prior work experience sufficient to demonstrate possession of the knowledge, skill and ability needed to perform the essential tasks of the job. Preference may be given to individuals possessing a HS diploma or GED.
-Desire excellent customer service skills with maturity, courtesy and compassion in assisting customers in often high stress areas.
-Serves as liaison between waiting room families, hospital staff and physicians.
-Coordinates CCU visitations at designated times and exceptions and provides updates to families.
-Answers telephone and utilizes intercom; relays and documents messages and follow up as needed.
-Maintains accurate list of patients and family contacts.
-Requires use of in house computer software programs and multi-tasking skills.
-Requisition supplies, maintenance, equipment and repair services and prepares related forms.
-Maintains stock and equipment inventories at appropriate levels.
-Assist with lockers use assignment of recliners for overnight use
-Maintains cleanliness in waiting area(s).
-Ability to multi-task and flexibility to work short notice as needed.
