Assistant Site Manager - Summit Medical Group at Farragut

Summit Medical Group at Farragut is seeking an Assistant Site Manager to join their practice. This position requires a LPN or CMA and is a Full time opportunity.

Responsibilities: (List does not include all duties assigned)

+ Supervises, prioritizes and delegates job duties to staff including daily and special

projects.

+ Trains staff in all appropriate job functions.

+ Assists staff with questions / obstacles in performance of team priorities.

+ Identifies opportunities and implements creative action to maximize team

performance.

+ Identifies and resolves problems.

+ Handles staff payroll and work schedule functions, including, but not limited to: Monitoring overtime, processing and verifying staff time sheets, monitoring staff work and break schedules, and adjusting staff coverage to accommodate department needs.

+ Attends and participates in meetings, as appropriate.

+ Communicates all appropriate information to supervisor(s) as appropriate.

+ Gathers and distributes all appropriate information and updates to staff.

+ Makes calls to temp services when needed.

+ Orders checks from AP for CME/dues/licenses.

+ Pays bills for site.

+ Deals with Reps for vaccines to get better pricing.

+ Adheres to all elements of the established corporate compliance plan.

+ Maintains strictest confidentiality both internally and externally.

+ Actively participates in site-level Quality Improvement Activities. Each employee will contribute to the continual evaluation site performance as well as the implementation and measurement of improvement activities that increase the quality of care provided to patients.

Education: High School Diploma required. Bachelor’s degree in Management preferred.

*** Medical Assistant Certification or License Practical Nurse required ***

Experience: One year supervisory experience in a medical office setting preferred.
