Staff Accountant (FT) Hybrid Remote - Kingsport, TN

SCOPE OF POSITION
The Staff Accountant I is responsible for assigned roles relating to analysis and compliance with financial reporting standards. Position works closely with Finance, Accounts Payable, Payroll, and other departments in conducting month end close, developing budgets, reviewing variances, and reconciling general ledger accounts. Problem solving, analytical skills, and critical thinking are a must for this position as well as a strong understanding of accounting principles. Must possess good computer skills and able to quickly learn other applications and systems.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance required. One (1) to three (3) years’ experience, preferably in a healthcare setting, preferred. Must have a proven track record of meeting deadlines as well as promoting positive relationships with customers.
