Student Affairs dedicates itself to the education of the whole person by providing student-centered opportunities and experiences that support academic, spiritual, professional, and personal goals, as expressed through the pillars of service, scholarship, leadership, and faith.
The Director of Campus Ministries and Campus Chaplain directs Kettering College’s spiritual life, performs religious and spiritual functions associated with beliefs and practices of the Seventh-day Adventist Church, and provides spiritual guidance and assistance to our students and employees. The Director plays a collaborative and inclusive role in the implementation of our Spiritual Master Plan, spiritual development of our College community, and leads spiritual programming on and off campus. The Director of Campus Ministries and Campus Chaplain will bring energy and excitement to the work, collaborate with our Student Affairs and Student Success teams, and embrace a student-centered environment while focusing on Jesus.

+ Bachelor’s degree in Theology (or a related field). Masters preferred.
+ At least five years of pastoral experience, preferably in a higher education settin
+ A baptized member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church in good standing.
+ Must be student-centered, innovative, and an excellent listener and communicator, with exceptional interpersonal skills
+ Must be able to exhibit flexibility in schedule and work weekends and evenings
+ The selected individual must demonstrate previous and ongoing commitment to the ministry of Seventh-day Adventist higher education and be a Seventh-day Adventist in good and regular standing.
