Job Responsibilities:

The Clinical Pastoral (CPE) Resident will provide pastoral care and spiritual support to patients, patient’s families, and employees of all ages and backgrounds from birth to geriatrics. To serve as a resource for staff and administration in implementing KMCN ministry of healing to the whole person. Chaplains are also sensitive to the spiritual, religious values, believes and practices of persons of all faith, inquiring for continuing spiritual growth and responding to these needs in a respectful and caring manner. Chaplain is able to minister with understanding to those who are in mental/emotional crisis, including patient and family.

Requirements:

Education:

To be admitted for CPE Residency, completion of 1 previous unit of CPE is required and completion of MDiv (or other graduate level theological education) is preferred.

Experience:

Previous ministry experience preferred
