As a member of the team, you will support enterprise-wide efforts to maintain, grow, refine, report on, and analyze our global business continuity capability to cement Salesforce as a global resilience leader - both operationally and culturally. You will identify and implement new methodologies for success, perform industry-leading work, and solve bold problems on the forefront of operational resiliency.

This role will report to into the Global Safety and Security Resilience Team and will work primarily across business and engineering organizations to implement and maintain the Salesforce Business Resilience Program, including plan development and testing, in close alignment with the Salesforce Technical Resilience Team. This role will provide operational resilience domain expertise across business and technology stakeholders and serves as the primary lead for Business Resilience Program across the Security, Engineering, and Business Technology functions.

**Responsibilities:**

**Grow the GS&S Business Continuity Program across the enterprise**

+ Expand the GS&S Business Resilience program in both breadth and depth by engaging mission critical teams and leadership across Availability, Engineering, Business Technology and Security. Responsibilities in this space include:

+ Develop, refine, maintain, and coordinate business continuity plans and strategies

+ Align business continuity plan development and implementation closely with the Technical Resilience team’s Disaster Recovery program, to build a seamless business and technical resilience capability into the greater Salesforce resilience environment

+ Develop and lead targeted business continuity tests, trainings and exercises that generate evidence evaluating service owner capabilities to meet expected recovery times in the event of an outage or disruption

+ Support efforts to simplify, scale, automate, standardize and integrate business resilience capabilities and technologies to drive operational excellence

+ Partner with internal technology teams to identify and scope technology enhancements and process improvements to boost enterprise resilience engagement

+ Support initiatives to scale program implementation to meet growing Salesforce Cloud, High Availability, and Security demands

+ Manage and analyze business impact analysis information and facilitate plan updates with business continuity partners, as needed

+ Leverage business resilience data to identify planning gaps and risks discovered through business function engagement, plan development and exercising. Recommend mitigation strategies to address identified risks.

+ Create, consolidate, and present evidence requested for certifications to meet regulatory requirements, as needed by internal and external auditors

This position resides in Global Intelligence, Resilience & Response Operations which is responsible for the development and delivery of enterprise business continuity, strategic intelligence analysis, risk management, and global incident / crisis response programs.

**REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:**

+ Desire to learn, grow, and innovate

+ Experience building and maturing an enterprise-level operational resilience program in Technology (SaaS), Financial, Professional Services sectors

+ 10+ years of experience in a resilience-related field (business continuity, disaster recovery, etc.) with general understanding of availability, cyber security, site reliability engineering, security incident response preferred

+ Solid experience developing and administering business continuity tests, trainings, and exercises (tabletop and functional)

+ Relevant business continuity / cloud / security certifications (CBCP, CBCI, CISM, CISSP, etc.)

+ Project/program management and process development/improvement experience

+ Agile, proactive, comfortable with ambiguous specifications and able to prioritize quickly and effectively

+ Ability to work well with a wide range of individuals including developers, systems administrators, executives, etc. (especially Information Security, GRC, Risk Management, Technology, Business, functions)

+ Experience working with multi-functional, distributed teams

+ Broad knowledge of Cloud technologies/environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure) preferred

+ Proficiency with Salesforce technologies preferred

+ Excellent presentation, facilitation, and communication skills

+ Good interpersonal and relationship-building skills

+ Detail oriented with an eye for quality

+ Thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, using research and analysis to support recommendations and opinions

+ Fusion Risk Management or other third-party resilience tooling experience desirable

_For Colorado-based roles: Minimum annual salary of $128,000. You may also be entitled to receive bonus, restricted stock units, and benefits._
