The purpose of the Planner / Scheduler role is to provide reliable expectation / communication around topics of capacity, lead time, and project due dates relating to the prep and production of photopolymer printing plates to ensure full customer satisfaction.


  • Function as project leader in developing future scheduling processes / programs as needed.
  • Lead prioritization and coordination of the customer demands within the abilities of the production site(s) for focused results.
  • Extreme Ownership of production schedules in regards to customer prioritization to meet due dates.
  • Work with the team and site teams to develop and/or sustain utilization of the processes for Ordering & Scheduling.
  • Track and understand Production capabilities in order to maximize scheduling accuracy.
  • Perform audits of work instructions / procedures.
  • Collaborate with Team Members and Management to develop creative corrective actions / solutions to customer issues or gaps in process to improve quality, lower cost and accelerate speed to market
  • Administrative tasks - daily production meetings, reporting, assisting DGM as needed.
  • Establish goals, track results
  • Responsible for continuous education in the areas of new technology, new processes, and personal growth.
  • Assure that on a daily basis all company standards and Customer Commitments are met
  • Work safely at all times
  • Perform other duties as assigned and assist as needed


    • Experience Scheduling/Planning required.
    • Microsoft Office Experience Required with emphasis on Excel
    • File Maker Pro Experience Strongly preferred
    • Problem solving and analytical skills
    • Experience with Flexographic Printing and Plates preferred
    • Mac Experience Required
    • Adobe Illustrator preferred.
    • Detail orientated
    • Strong written & oral communication skills
    • Excellent time management skills - ability to be proactive and acknowledge priority
    • Knowledge of production capabilities and other department operations
    • Ability to resolve conflicts and develop teamwork
    • Ability to work independently... Self Starter
