GWIM Senior Operations Representative

**Job Description:**

Processes routine/standard transactions according to established procedures and prescribed processes in support of GWIM Operations. Daily responsibilities will cover one or more operations functional areas such as: analyses, report generation, opening new accounts, trade processing, payment processing, data entry, etc. Provides quality service and effective and efficient operations support for the assigned area's internal business partners and/or external customers and clients. May provide advice and assist with training for less experienced team members. Individuals at this level are expected to use some independence of thought but to refer more complex problems to Operations Team Manager and/or Supervisor. GWIM Tax Reporting Operations is responsible for multiple tax related functions to support IRS and State regulatory required tax reporting, withholding payments, and cost basis updates, primarily on behalf of GWIM investment and retirement accounts. The Sr. Operations Representative will be responsible for reviewing and researching service requests that are received through our team’s E-mail Support Inboxes.

**Key Responsibilities:**

+ Handle e-mails pertaining to Date of Death, Capital Change, Cost Basis, and Back Up withholding

+ Update and maintain current tax lots and for unrealized and realized gains/losses

+ Liaison between internal units/departments and Branch Offices in the immediate resolution of all problems related to Cost Basis / Capital Change Transactions

Minimum Required Skills:

+ Exceptional customer service skills

+ Highly organized with strong attention to detail and accuracy

+ Overtime is required & sometimes mandatory

+ Excellent interpersonal skills

+ Proven ability to effectively service/resolve client inquiries

+ Strong oral and written communication skills

+ Ability to work effectively and efficiently as an individual contributor in a team set up

+ Positive and professional attitude in a team oriented fast paced work environment

+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

+ Be able to adhere to the industry and IRS rules and regulations

Desired Skills:

+ Proficient with Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word, and Excel

+ Understanding of rules and regulations, policies, and standards

+ Ability to create & run macros

+ College degree preferred

+ 1+ years’ customer service experience
