The Ultrasound Technologists, perform and demonstrates proficiency in a variety of routine to moderately complex Ultrasound procedures at a technical level for diagnostic and pre-operative purposes.
The largest medical facility in the region, Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center (EIRMC) is a full-service hospital with 318 patient beds. We serve as the region's healthcare hub, serving southeast Idaho, western Wyoming, Yellowstone National Park and parts of Montana.
EIRMC is home to a Level II Trauma Center , a Level 1 ICU (one of only two in Idaho), and the only emergency room in Idaho Falls. Additionally, we have the region's only Pediatric Intensive Care Unit for critically ill children. We also offer inpatient and outpatient mental health care for adolescents and adults at its 74-bed Behavioral Health Center .

- ARDMS Certificaton required.
- BLS Certification through American Heart Association required.
- As required with ARDMS, American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers.
- One(1) year of previous Ultrasound experience preferred.
- Must be able to be on an on-call status and respond within thirty (30) minutes of notification.
