As Director of Talent Acquisition for Honeywell Performance, Materials & Technologies (PMT), you will drive and execute talent acquisition and diversity strategies and provide business partnering to PMT HR and business/functional leaders. You will have a strong business acumen and partner on defining strategic talent acquisition priorities and workforce demands, translate them into tangible deliverables, communicate closely with the global TA delivery team, RPO partners, and other stakeholders.
You will partner closely with the following stakeholders:
+ PMT HR VP and HR team: proactively partner to understand business needs, upcoming demand, hiring challenges, providing agile solutions.
+ Talent Management: on development and execution of internal talent movement strategies to enable ready now succession for critical positions.
+ PMT I&D Council: on developing and driving hiring processes that will improve diversity
+ HR and HRS Data analytics: to analyze workforce data to form and own the TA demand plans aligned to AOP and STRAP and enable proactive talent pools.
+ Assessment COE: to deploy appropriate talent assessment tools to drive quality selection of talent.
+ University Relations: to execute on early career programs and campus strategies.
+ Executive Search Partners: to oversee all executive hiring and sourcing top candidates.
This is a strategic role which will lead both transformational activities as well as daily execution of robust project management and routine recruitment. You will:
Business Leadership partnering
+ Define talent acquisition priorities based on business objectives, understand contributing factors including growth, repositioning, steady state attrition, skills gaps, STRAP, etc.,
+ Build plans to source proactively.
+ Communicate routinely with delivery organization to ensure workforce demands are clear and executed on time.
+ Carefully consider cost and quality when making recruitment decisions.
+ Run required analytics and interpret data to facilitate decision-making and recommendations effectively.
+ Partner with peers across the globe to drive cross enterprise efficiencies to source roles to minimize redundancy and improve quality of sourced talent
+ Lead staffing workstreams on growth and repositioning projects and apply the most effective strategies to source talent to meet the demand expectations.
+ Ensure awareness and execution of recruitment per business objectives in all regions and remove barriers.
Hiring talent from succession plans and maximize internal talent mobility for open roles
+ In partnering with Talent Management ensure robust succession planning gaps are addressed to enable filling of open roles and aligns external hiring to address succession gaps proactively.
Deploy high quality assessment and selection tools to determine strong talent match for critical roles
+ Partner with the Assessment SMEs to deploy assessments and effective interviewing and selection tools.
+ Help managers utilize assessment tools to make sound talent selection decisions.
Executive, Critical and Pivotal roles
+ Listen to the Senior Business Leaders and understand their precise demands in terms of candidate skill set for E Band and critical roles
+ Support search for such roles using internal and external executive search methods, proactively plan sourcing for talent pools, ensure the right fit candidates are sourced, selected and submitted.
Diversity and Inclusion
+ Drive diversity strategy implementation for Aero. Drive 100% diverse of slate at interview stage.
+ Ensure all managers and HR are trained and continuously drive diversity of hire.
+ Analyze diversity metrics to understand key opportunities and partner with delivery team to identify actions and improve hiring; lead reporting on diversity.
+ Participate and facilitate I&D Council’s topics and actions.
+ Partners closely with the UR leader to develop strategic UR needs for Aero including demand plans and ensure hiring plans met.
+ Broker results-oriented and collaborative use of the TA operating model across all stakeholders
+ Coordinate between client groups and SBG / Regional HR/TA points of contact to drive desired business goals and objectives, remove barriers and drives the required change management
+ Ensure RPOs are being effectively managed across the globe
+ Be a demanding partner, but constructive and willing to jointly find solutions; being data driven
YOU MUST HAVE
+ Bachelor’s Degree (Master’s Degree preferred)
+ 8+ years of experience in recruitment or HR or business management or related field
+ Strong project management skills
+ Stakeholder management
+ Data analytics with ability to interpret insights and drive actions
+ Strong supplier management skills is a plus
+ Workforce planning is a plus or related data-based planning and analysis (e.g. financial)
+ Executive reporting and executive presentations
+ Demonstrated confidence in all settings when advising/partnering with business leaders
+ Ability to partner well across business and global lines and provide excellent customer service
+ Ability to influence decisions in a highly matrixed environment
+ Proven ability to prioritize effectively and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment with competing demands and deadlines
+ Passion to go above and beyond and drive excellence
