Next Generation and Standards (NGS) within Intel is responsible for researching, developing, prototyping, and standardizing compelling Intel advanced technologies for next-generation wireless systems.
The candidate will work in this team as a Wireless Standards Research Intern responsible for technology development and performance evaluation towards the next-generation wireless networks.
**Detailed responsibilities include:**
+ Contribute to technology innovations and technical solutions on 5G and next-generation wireless networks
**The position requires a solid understanding of:**
+ Wireless access network communication principles
+ Network layer and cross layers design and inter-dependency
+ The ideal candidate must have the following:
+ Be a creative problem-solver in 4G and 5G wireless systems.
+ Strong analytical and research skills
+ Willing to work in a multi-discipline team to design and develop a complete wireless communications system
+ Good written and verbal communication skills, and interpersonal skills
+ Self-motivated, proactive, work effectively with internal and external groups
The length of this internship is estimated to last from 3 to 9 months.
You must possess the minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus in identifying top candidates. Relevant experience can be obtained through school work, classes and project work, internships, and/or work experience.
Pursuing a Master's or Ph.D. degree in Communications Engineering, Wireless Communications Engineering, Electrical Engineering or any other related field.
6+ months of experience in :
+ Programming skills in C/C++, Python
+ Information Security
+ Linux, Bash, and Git
+ Keras or Tensorflow.
+ 1+ year experience in data analysis: Python modules such as NumPy, pandas, matplotlib, plotly, and sklearn.
+ 1+ year experience with Jupyter, Git, Kubernetes, and Docker.
+ Experience with Blockchain tools such as Ethereum
