Manager, S&OP

The Manager, S&OP is responsible for creating a robust supply and demand planning program. This program supports the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process for primary sales channels and customers segments across North America (Canada and United States). This role engages across all levels of the organization and serves as the subject matter expert representing the Supply Chain Planning team in monthly tactical demand and supply planning as well as strategic projects. Successful individual in role will demonstrate an ability to communicate effectively, and create a unified plan that incorporates stakeholder recommendations appropriately. This role will report directly to Director, Supply Chain Planning and will work out of the Corporate office in Hilliard, Ohio.

Primary Job Responsibilities:

+ Responsible for creating, managing, improving, and implementing S&OP program across entire ADS organization, includes cultivating executive consensus

+ Synthesizes information and provides visibility to the most salient issues facing the company that need awareness, discussion, and action

+ Creates a culture of collaborative continuous improvement across functions such as Supply Chain (Manufacturing, Logistics, Procurement), Finance, and IT

+ Manages timing and orchestration of meetings and required cadence to achieve rigorous S&OP

+ Advocate for process automation via utilization of existing systems and integration of new systems for holistic solutions, challenges status quo relating to measures and metrics evaluated

+ Quantifies performance by producing applicable reports and presentations

+ Drives proposals annually in support of long-term investment recommendations for Cap Ex spend

+ Evaluates risks/opportunities with existing S&OP program, provides insight on S&OP trends, escalates demand/supply constraints to applicable regional leaders and holds teams accountable to commitments aligned to 18-month estimates, documents assumptions determined in discussions for analysis

+ Drives discussions and analysis that support improved/efficient production, revenue growth, customer service satisfaction, etc.

Job Skills:

+ Critical thinking and analytical acumen – ability to able to evaluate and connect current state of business and opportunity/implications to achieving future goals.

+ Understand and drive root cause analysis and identify ideal solutions within constrained, fast-paced work environment

+ Collaboration and conflict resolution in a decentralized, partially virtual organization

+ Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite, extensive ability to slice and cull data and general information into summarized format

+ Ability to build forecast and capacity planning tools

+ Strong financial acumen – able to build, read and interpret numeric data and financial reports

Educational Requirements:

+ Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain or Inventory Planning, required

+ MBA or master’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Finance or equivalent preferred

+ APICS Certification a plus

Preferred Experience:

+ Minimum of 3 years of experience in Supply Chain management and planning

+ Depth of knowledge and experience working in S&OP processes relating to: Demand Supply Balancing, Tactical Business Planning, or Integrated Business Planning

+ Experience working for a publicly traded mid to large size organization responsible for demand planning and inventory management strategies

+ Oracle EBS, Oracle ASCP, Arkieva, Power BI functional experience preferred

+ Travel – less than 5%
