Reporting and accountable to the Nurse Manager/Director, the Registered Nurse is responsible for coordinating and delivering patient care utilizing the nursing process in a hospital setting. Demonstrates proper performance of skills reflected and validated by orientation/skills checklist.

The American Nurses Association (ANA) made a conscious decision to use healthcare consumer terminology as we globally focus on health and wellness. According to the ANA, using healthcare consumer shows respect for those we treat, recognizing that the healthcare consumer is looking for safe, quality care.
