Customer Service Rep UCC

    • The Urgent Care Customer Service Representative provides patient access support for the clinic by greeting patients and visitors, answering inquiries, guiding patients through the registration process, maintaining accurate patient medical records including demographic and insurance information, collecting payments, and assisting with other duties as needed, such as scheduling appointments. Additionally, provides general clerical support for the clinic, including but not limited to: answering incoming phone lines, taking messages and routing each to appropriate parties, filing, copying and faxing of medical records and other documents as requested and in accordance to policy.

      • Minimum of 1 year prior experience in a medical office or health care setting preferred. Medical Terminology preferred. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment where efficiency, flexibility, organizational skills & management of multiple projects is critical. Excellent customer-service oriented skills required; courtesy is a must. Must have working knowledge of computers and office equipment. Demonstrated typing, computer and proofing skills required. Must be able to work well with a diversity of individuals, including patients, visitors, administration, team members, department managers, physicians and community members.
