Under the direction of the Cardiology Service Director and Supervisor, performs diagnostic Echocardiography procedures at a technical level, not requiring constant supervision of technical detail.
+ Performs a variety of technical procedures that will require independent judgement, ingenuity and initiative in the utilization of Ultrasound for diagnosis.
+ Demonstrates the ability to understand the unique infant/child, adolescent, adult and geriatric population and effectively meet those needs relative to growth, assessment and development of the patients.
+ May be assigned as an instructor in areas of competence
+ This position is represented by SEIU, Local 1107 and is covered by the terms and conditions of the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
+ At least one year of full time experience in clinical diagnostic echocardiography or satisfactory completion of a formal training program in diagnostic echocardiography.
+ High School Diploma or equivalent.
+ CT CPRBLS = Basic Life Support CPR.
+ CT EKGTECH = Certified Echocardiographer.
+ Must be able to take call and arrive at the hospital within 30 minute response time.
