**A Day in the Life**
The Strategic Platform Executive will
report directly to Vertical Product Manager (VPM) and will have primary
responsibility for the sale of the LungGPS platform. The Strategic
Platform Executive will need to work cooperatively with the Sales management
team; ILS Sales Team, Market Development Executives as well as the Phillips
Sales team to lead generate, conduct demos and close sales in their given Area
geography. The ideal candidate will live in Chicago Region, but territory
covers IL, MN, WI, ID, ND, SD).
+ Partner with Sales, Marketing, Education,Finance and Market Development to deploy sales plan and secure customersfor the LungGPS platform.
+ Provide feedback and guidance to Sales,Sales Training, and Marketing regarding the commercialization of this newproduct.
+ Work closely with the ILS Leadership team tohelp build, provide input and execute on critical, business strategies.
+ Embrace the sales vision to enable strategictargeting and execution to targets which are most desirable to thebusiness.
+ Establish an actionable pipeline ofprospects from ILS Install Base, Prospective MDT customers and withinPhillips Install Base.
+ Inform activities to evolve the salesorganization toward a desired future state with a new core business ofsoftware solutions.
+ Oversee the pipeline management for the Areaand coordinate with MDE and Phillips.
+ Prepare to coach others related to keylearnings regarding sales process with new platform and new call pointwith Hospital IT.
+ Help develop and maintain company culture asa member of the Area sales team.
+ Develop an overall plan to deliver revenuewhile engaging Account Managers, Territory Managers and coordinatingactivity with Invivo.
+ Provide consistent communication to VPM on aweekly basis that ensures alignment and focus on key business priorities.
+ Establish and maintain key customerrelationships and develop and implement strategies to increase thecustomer base with Lung GPS platform.
+ Strategic partner at the table to providevaluable insight, feedback and input to the future direction of the ILSfranchise and pan-MITG Lung Health program
+ Identify and manage collaborationopportunities with other sales organizations within MITG to further thepenetration of Medtronic’s disease-state oriented solutions.
+ Work with the VPM to establish alignment tokey company objectives.
+ Develop strategies, process and disciplinesthat support bottom line commitments by delivering revenue commitments.
+ Drive sales to meet or exceed company’sobjectives.
**MustHave: Minimum Requirements**
+ Bachelors degree required
+ Minimum of 7 years field sales experienceand at least two years of medical device sales.
**Nice to Have**
+ MBA is preferred.
+ 10+ years of sales experience,with 3-5 years in management positions.
+ Demonstrated experience in achievingsales goals, managing high performing teams and developing key customerrelationships.
+ Experience selling tophysicians teaching a new procedure and selling a new paradigm
+ Experience discussingreimbursement related to a medical device sales
+ Experience with prospecting fornew business and cold calling
+ Goal-oriented individual who operates on ahigh sense-of-urgency and drives issues to closure.
+ Proven track record working collaborativelywith a cross-functional team
+ Excellent interpersonal and collaborationskills and integrity.
+ Experience in strategic and tactical salesplanning.
+ Experience in C-suite, capital or softwaresales
+ Proven experience in technical sales process
+ Strategic leader with executivepresence.
+ Strong communication skills withorganizational presence.
+ Ability to lead a cross functionalteam in a matrix setting.
+ Experience in successfully managinga budget function.
+ Utilizing technology in managementof the sales force.
+ Ability to inspire high performance.
+ Proven record of building anddeveloping talent.
+ Experience with a frequent changes inorganizational structure, cultural shifts and redeployment of assets ishighly desirable.
