**Overview**

CHI St. Alexius Health Garrison includes the services of a 22-bed critical access hospital, a 26-bed skilled nursing facility, an attached rural health clinic, and a newly remodeled Emergency Department that is available 24 hours a day. We offer many outpatient services, including physical therapy, radiology services, laboratory services, cardiac rehabilitation, and IV treatments.

Since opening in 1952, CHI St. Alexius Health Garrison has been dedicated to serving the residents of Garrison and the surrounding rural communities.

Garrison Memorial Hospital is equipped with 4 emergency rooms, on-site lab, radiology, CT and physical therapy services. Our patients have access to 24/7 emergency care, swing-bed program, and acute care services. **Responsibilities**

***THIS POSITION IS ELIGIBLE FOR UP TO A $5000 SIGN ON BONUS***

**Assisting the providers with patient care, scheduling examinations and performing miscellaneous reception and office duties in connection with referrals, insurance claims, ordering supplies, etc.**

**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:**

+ Knowledgeably assist providers with procedures/exams and further testing of patients.

+ Complete referral appointments requested by provider

+ Complete medical records forms, i.e. faxes, referrals, consults.

+ Receive and screen patient phone calls

+ Proper documentation/spelling

+ Knowledgeable of reception and office duties, i.e. insurance, waivers, ordering supplies.

+ Maintain proper supplies and storage of supplies

**Qualifications**

**Education:** Graduate from accredited School of Nursing in the state of North Dakota.

**Licensure:** Licensed to practice as a licensed practical nurse in the state of ND or in a compact state. Graduate Practical Nurse (G.P.N.) must practice under the supervision of a registered nurse while the work authorization to practice is valid.

**Experience:** Previous clinic or nursing experience preferred.

$18.86 - $25.22 /hour
