Mission Health is accepting applications for our next Regional Director - Finance!
Job Summary: Responsible for primary oversight of assigned Mission Health System (MHS) Region Members as well as acting as Finance leader for the entire Region. Provides strategic and financial leadership for the integrated health system and establishes and implements financial business and support area policies, plans and objectives in support of MHS Regional and business strategic objectives. Provides counsel to the MHS Member President and to the Board on all financial matters, particularly with respect to the status of the MHS Region economy, opportunities and threats. Work with MHS Leadership and local Senior Leadership to ensure that the strategic, operational, and financial plans are planned, implemented and monitored for compliance and consistency. Provide assistance/feedback to the Health System Vice-President of Finance and local MHS Member Finance teams on all financial matters related to MHS members and strategic financial planning.
Required Education: B.S. Degree Accounting, Business, or related field
Preferred Education: Master HealthCare Administration, Accounting, or Business Administration
Preferred License: CPA, (Certified Public Accountant)
Required Experience: One to three years of Hospital / Health System CFO, or VP of Finance. Must demonstrate strong communication and organizational skills. Be confident, engaged, and innovative possessing high energy balanced with high integrity. Have working knowledge of preparing monthly/annual Financial Statements, External Audits, State/Federal tax reports, General Ledger and Capital/Operating Budgets. Possess strong analytical and strategic-thinking ability as well as administrative and organizational skills to plan, organize and make commitments to the system leadership and finance team. Ability to build strong interpersonal relationships with staff and management at all levels of the organization. Possess strong PC skills in applications such as Excel, Word and other Microsoft applications.
Preferred Experience: Three to five years of Hospital or Health System CFO, VP of Finance. Regional oversight within a Health System environment.
