Enterprise Application Development Intern

**Job Description**

IT is a group of specialized professionals providing services to Intel's Engineering, Manufacturing, Sales, Marketing, and Corporate teams to sustain and maintain their work environments. IT participates in resolving customer issues and identifying and implementing system administration process improvements, including automation. What the team does:

+ End to End support including Design, Develop, QA, Release, and Support of the applications and the platform.

+ Develop microservices using JAVA sprint boot.

+ Constantly enhancing our API for our customers using REST.

+ Optimizing the performance by finetuning SQL stored procedure.

You must possess the minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Relevant experience can be obtained through schoolwork classes and project work, internships, military training, and/or work experience.

**Minimum Qualifications:**

+ The candidate must be an active student pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field of study.

+ Coursework/Experience in software development.

**Preferred Qualifications:**

Experience with:

+ JAVA development and JBoss Application, Microservices.

+ MSSQL Query language.

+ Operating systems.

+ Scripting languages like PowerShell, Python, or Perl.

**Inside this Business Group**

Intel's Information Technology Group (IT) designs, deploys and supports the information technology architecture and hardware/software applications for Intel. This includes the LAN, WAN, telephony, data centers, client PCs, backup and restore, and enterprise applications. IT is also responsible for e-Commerce development, data hosting and delivery of Web content and services.
