St. Elizabeth Healthcare is hiring a NICU Nurse Manager to join our team. The level III NICU supports a very busy labor and delivery unit which is responsible for over 4,300 births annually. The 30-bed unit is clinically supported around the clock by neonatologists and neonatal nurse practitioners. Additional ancillary support services are provided by PT, OT, speech, RT, and pharmacy. Our ideal candidate is an engaging leader who will influence a positive work environment and promote family centered care. Our preferred leader is a highly motivated clinical expert in level III neonatal nursing, and willing to provide clinical care or support the team when needed. In addition to clinical expertise, our preferred leader is knowledgeable about operating budgets, financial stewardship, quality metrics, and decision making. Has 24/7 responsibility for leadership and management functions of an operational business unit (s). Demonstrate the ability to manage a diverse work team to accomplish the strategic plan of the organization.
Education, Credentials, Licenses:
BSN. Graduate of accredited School of Nursing
Licensed to practice nursing in the
State of Kentucky. Meets contact hours requirements for
Licensure, including all state-required courses.
Kind and Length of Experience:
3 years nursing experience; experience relevant to the specific clinical area including: experience as Assistant Nurse Manager or equivalent position and experience with staffing/scheduling and managing a unit/department budget.
