If you have experience in mechanical, electrical, and building systems and equipment, this job could be for you. As the **Equipment Maintenance Mechanic,** you will perform diversified duties to maintain and repair production equipment and facility systems.

**A Day in the Life**

This role supports production in troubleshooting and maintaining equipment and facility systems to ensure high levels of equipment uptime and to ensure general compliance within a regulated industry.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.

+ Performs repairs and maintenance for equipment related to production and facility systems.

+ Typically performs work in one or more of the maintenance trades: plumbing, machine, and equipment repair, and electrical.

+ Conducts routine, periodic, or special inspections to determine repair and maintenance work necessary to prevent breakdowns of facilities, machinery, and equipment.

+ Uses hand and power tools.

+ Tests, inspects, troubleshoots, and repairs machines and equipment.

+ Uses blueprints, sketches, layouts, wiring diagrams, drawings, and specifications.

+ Repair and/or replace gauges, pumps, shafts, bearings, valves, pressure regulators, and related equipment.

+ Will develop a good working knowledge of the Building Management System.

+ Respond to Building Management System calls.

+ Participation in the on-call rotation.

+ Must be flexible to work all shifts, Holidays, and weekends as needed due to vacation, illness, etc.

+ Complete require training and be qualified to enter the clean processing areas.

+ Monitor and maintain process water systems.

+ Comply with all company’s safety rules and guideline.

+ Wear proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as per company guidelines.

+ Required to know how to use hand power tools to perform duties safe and effective.

+ Other job-related duties as assigned.

**Must Have: Minimum Requirements**

+ Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience and may require vocational or technical education or certification in addition to prior work experience

**Nice to Have**

+ High school diploma/GED

+ Proficient in Microsoft Office

+ Ability to function independently as well as part of a team.

+ Excellent written and oral communication skills.

+ Ability to manage multiple priorities in fast paced environment.

+ Team dynamic skills (communication, accountability, decision making, feedback, meeting management, conflict management)

The provided base salary range is used nationally in the United States (except in Puerto Rico and certain CA locations). The rate offered complies with federal/local regulations and may vary by experience, certification/education, market conditions, location, etc.
