**378907BR** **Job ID:** 378907BR **About the role:** The Medical Director will drive collaboration and co-leadership of the products with Global, US Medical, US Marketing, and US Sales colleagues. Specific responsibilities will include execution of clinical trials in rheumatological diseases (e.g. Lupus), leadership of advisory boards and other meetings MedicalExperts, development of the data generation plan and Medical communications strategy/implementation, conducting field force training, active participation in promotional material development and review, and various internal and external presentations. Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Identify and secure partnerships with US sites for the development of YTB323, a CD19 CAR-T therapy for Systemic Lupus Erythematosus, Lupus Nephritis, and other Autoimmune Diseases. • Develop positive relationships with not only National, but also key Regional and Local Medical Experts, with a focus on Investigators. Support Medical Authority Engagement Strategy. • Drive external partnerships with Professional Societies, Patient Advocacy Groups, and Academic Medical Centers. • Key member of the cross-functional YTB Action Team, which drives collaboration between Rheumatology Autoimmune Diseases and Hematology. • Show strengths as a Medical Leader within the Innovative Medicines US Medical Affairs organization. Build positive partnerships between US Medical Affairs and the Product Team as well as with Global colleagues. • Partner with Heath Economics & Outcomes Research (HE&OR) to conduct analytics relevant to our research efforts, patient journey, etc. • Actively explore, plan, and implement communications solutions – including through digital channels – in order to address strategic and scientific gaps. • Drive advisory boards and work closely with Field Medical on initiatives. The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $233,600.00 and $350,400.00 per year; however, while salary ranges are effective from 1/1/23 through 12/31/23, fluctuations in the job market may necessitate adjustments to pay ranges during this period. Further, final pay determinations will depend on various factors, including, but not limited to geographical location, experience level, knowledge, skills and abilities. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a sign-on bonus, restricted stock units, and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment. This position will require 35-40% travel. \n\n\n\n **Position Title:** Medical Director, Autoimmune Diseases - Remote **Role Requirements:** What you’ll bring to the role: • Bachelors or equivalent 4-Year University Degree required. • Doctorate level degree (MD, PharmD, DO, or PhD in Health Sciences or related field) or Nurse Practitioner (NP)/ Physician’s Assistant (PA) degree with significant relevant clinical experience required. • Medical Degree (MD) or equivalent preferred. • >5 years’ experience in progressively senior roles with-in clinical development and/or medical affairs roles in the biotech or pharmaceutical industry or academic in-stitution/clinical practice. • Strong track record of positive, productive interactions with Medical Experts and Investigators. Preferred Skills: • Established relationships in the Rheumatology and/or Hematology community preferred. • Strong knowledge of Rheumatologic and/or Hematologic disease and treatments preferred.
