To that end, Novartis is currently hiring a Director - US Talent Programs who will be responsible for the design and delivery of world-class programs and practices that build a balanced pipeline of talent who fuel Novartis’s long-term growth in the US. Your Key Responsibilities (include but are not limited to): • Working with key partners to assess existing Talent Program offerings in the US, identifying critical skills and target talent cohorts based on business input, identifying partnerships to establish talent pipelines and understanding global guidelines • Collaborating closely with the global Talent Management center of expertise to understand and ensure that US programs are aligned and complementary to the enterprise Talent Program strategy • Crafting a US Early Talent strategy based on long-term US business needs and US Talent Management priorities, including end-to-end systems, processes and marketing approach • Collaborating across the US organization and with global partners to centralize divisional offerings into a unified program that aligns to enterprise guidelines • Leading the Early Talent and University Relations team and owning the execution and governance of Talent Programs for the US • Partnering with Talent Acquisition and D&I to source and select the best, diverse talent to meet short- and long-term business needs, using data and close business relationships to inform specific skill sets and capabilities needed in candidate profiles • Collaborating with US People & Organization to adjust, improve and augment people processes to cater to the needs and expectations of various talent segments • Growing the overall diversity of Novartis workforce, aligned with D&I Strategy targets and priorities \n\n\n\n **Position Title:** Director - US Talent Programs **Minimum requirements:** What You’ll Bring To The Role: • Bachelor’s degree (or international equivalent) in Business, Strategy, Marketing or a related field required • Minimum of 10 years’ experience of leadership in Talent Acquisition or Talent Development, preferably with a focus on early talent (defined as individuals with less than 4 years’ professional experience) • Deep knowledge and demonstrated experience developing and implementing successful early talent strategies and programs at scale within the US, specifically for medical, commercial and tech talent gained in the Pharmaceutical or Technology industry • Strong proficiency in data management and tracking, measurement, analytics and insights • Highly collaborative, with a proven track record in influencing without authority as well as a pragmatic, goal-oriented mentality • Strategic & analytical problem solver with a delivery focus • Excellent communication skills at all levels and experience working in a global, fast-paced environment • English language proficiency The ideal location for this role is East Hanover, NJ or Cambridge, MA, however, remote work may be possible (there may be some restrictions based on legal entity). Please note that this role would not provide relocation as a result. The expectation of working hours and travel (domestic and/or international) will be defined by the hiring manager.
