Job Title: Principal System Engineer

The job description:

AT&T Services, Inc. is looking for a Principal System Engineer in Dallas, TX [and various work locations throughout the U.S.; may work from home] to work with product managers/owners to translate business requirements into technical designs. Work with Enterprise Architects, Integration Architects to contribute to end-to-end solution and detail out AT&T Business Services like ADI, AVPN, SDWAN and SASE. Transform legacy processes to new processes to retrofit in ServiceNow Platform leveraging CMDB and ITOM, ITAM, ITSM and Change Management modules. Work with the Agile release train teams to ensure best practices, scalability and other non-functional aspects are implemented. Help scrum teams in merge conflicts, pull request approvals. Contribute to Data Model Design, Data Lifecycle Management –across Service Delivery, Service Assurance and Day 2 Support. Utilize development methodologies like SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework for Lean Enterprises), Agile Scrum software development and Rapid Application Development (RAD). Understand platforms EFMS and OMX. Use languages such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, XML, C, C++, VB, JAVA, J2EE, VBScript, Gherkin, PL/SQL, No SQL, Python Scripting, R, BPEL, TCP/IP, REST Services, FTP, GIT. Operate project management tools (MS Office 365, JIRA, Agile Rally Dev, MS Visio, UML, Rational Requisite Pro, iRISE).

REQUIREMENTS: Requires a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent degree, in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Electrical and Electronic Engineering and 5 Years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or 5 Years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in a related occupation utilizing development methodologies like SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework for Lean Enterprises), Agile Scrum software development and Rapid Application Development (RAD); understanding platforms EFMS and OMX; using languages such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, XML, C, C++, VB, JAVA, J2EE, VBScript, Gherkin, PL/SQL, No SQL, Python Scripting, R, BPEL, TCP/IP, REST Services, FTP, GIT; and operating project management tools (MS Office 365, JIRA, Agile Rally Dev, MS Visio, UML, Rational Requisite Pro, iRISE).
