Production Engineer - Apple Cloud Services

+ Experience administrating compute capacity of a cloud infrastructure or supercomputing center (alternatively, experience developing tools to facilitate that task).
+ Experience with batch cloud or HPC infrastructures and their workloads.
+ Understanding of batch job scheduling technologies: QoS, fairshare, prioritization, and preemption.
+ Experience presenting on technical concepts to end users.
+ Experience architecting highly available systems.
+ Experience with containers and container orchestration
+ Familiarity with modern software development processes and best practices.
+ Experience developing and managing a large-scale production system.
+ Proficiency with performing data analysis and creating tools
+ Fluency in Linux and shell.
Deliver ACS services and scale to the operational state of ‘production’ for the internal and external partners. Engage early in software and infrastructure guidance and solutions aligned with ACS services, roadmap, and recommended architectures. Partner with development and operational teams for support, features, and enhancements on discovered features in alignment. Maintain relationships across Apple’s product teams, business organizations, and external open source communities. Understanding core concepts for cloud native technologies. Working with Apple teams to implement solutions based on ACS compute technologies and integrations. Understanding feature requests and advocating for customers and users with program/product management and operations. Providing leadership and customer feedback throughout the product or project lifecycle.
