**Summary**
Engineering Project Manager within the Connector Product Design organization is responsible for managing the development and implementation process with our engineering teams
**Description**
The role entails managing the design and development of connectors (e.g. USB, HDMI, Power, Lightning, etc.) for a variety of Apple products, driving day-to-day activities to meet the overall program objectives and focusing on mechanical engineering design, development planning and validation.
**Minimum Qualifications**
+ BS ME degree or equivalent required, MBA nice to have
+ Several years of project management experience
+ Experience and familiarity with consumer electronic industry
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ Excellent communication, organizational, presentation and leadership skills
+ Ability to filter and distill relevant information for the right audience
+ Self motivated and proactive with demonstrated critical thinking capabilities
+ Understands rapid development cycles and is adaptable in the face of ambiguity
+ Redirect pitfalls and develop improved course of action
+ Detailed knowledge of product development processes and strong understanding of manufacturing processes
+ Experience interfacing with product design, operations, cross-functional teams and managing international vendors
+ Combined experience in project management and mechanical engineering delivering products comprised of various materials and high esthetic quality
