Hardware Development Engineer

+ The candidate needs to have experience in electro-optical and structural characterization of III-V semiconductor optoelectronic devices.
+ Basic understanding of electro-optical fundamentals is required.
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and people skills are required.
- Perform a wide variety of detailed optical, electrical and structural characterization on optoelectronic devices: electroluminescence (LIV), photoluminescence, C-V characterization, SEM, etc. - Establish, calibrate, and validate experimental metrology apparatuses - Troubleshoot electrical systems - Familiarity with proper laboratory safety and housekeeping practices - Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment
**Education & Experience**
This position typically requires an associate’s degree or higher in STEM field (science, technology, engineering or math) and 10+ years of related experience. BS degree with less experience also OK.
