Finance Manager - Retail People Finance

+ 7 - 10+ years of Finance management experience in a fast paced, high pressure environment; forecasting and/or accounting experience are desirable
+ Proven experience building and/or running high-performance teams
+ Outstanding at building relationships, communicating with and influencing non-finance leaders
+ Skilled in quantitative analysis, with creativity to devise new approaches to analysis as business circumstances evolve; able to work comfortably with incomplete information while dealing with ambiguity
+ Strong business acumen and high intellectual curiosity with solid interest in Apple’s products, services, technology, business, and strategy
+ Extraordinarily detail oriented while able to keep sight of the “big picture”
+ Passion for automating and improving processes, and drive to adopt latest technology tools at our disposal
This is an exciting opportunity that entails the following responsibilities: Staff our Retail Stores and Contact Centers efficiently while enabling them to meet customers’ evolving needs across in-person and remote Sales and Services Become a thought leader in our staffing strategy, advising senior leaders on how to instrument staffing levels through the week, month, and year Closely partner with Retail and functional leaders, providing them with a clear understanding of their performance, and articulate the levers to improve it Establish close relationships with People, Store Operations, Payroll, Tax, and other teams to execute initiatives and improve performance Manage monthly, quarterly and annual budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting and disclosure processes Help craft & deploy technology solutions to streamline operational management of payroll expense Mentor, train, and develop a team of finance managers and analysts Be an active participant of the Retail Finance leadership team and handle special projects and requests as required
**Education & Experience**
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, or other quantitative field MBA; concentration in Finance is desirable
